Crankshaft Vibration Damper Assembly Set
Specifications
For dismantling and assembling the vibration damper on the vehicles listed.
The vibration damper fitted to the VAG 1.8/2.0 TFSi/ TSi engines(from2007) is held in place by a single central bolt.
If the pulley bolt is removed without using this tool the crankshaft chain sprocket can easily separate from the crankshaft causing the timing position to be lost.
To maintain the engine timing when removing the front vibration damper and should be used whenever the vibration damper is removed for instance when replacing the front crankshaft oil seal.
